I retired from the US Air Force in March 2021. Soon thereafter, I worked with Nalini in helping people at risk to escape from Afghanistan. I was immediately impressed by Nalini’s capabilities, especially her ability to connect networks of people and to unite them with a common vision and a common goal. She was able to join Active Duty military members, veterans, government officials, and people from corporate America and the tech sector, and maximized the strengths of every teammate. With her leadership we were able to save countless people in immediate danger. Nalini formulated the process of gathering data about people in harm’s way, their location, whether they actively being hunted by the Taliban, whether they had applied for a visa, what type of visa might they be eligible for, their health status, and their immediate needs of food, water, and shelter. Compiling this information about thousands of people in danger, Nalini led the team in managing and analyzing that data to connect with resources to keep them safe, get them evacuated, assist with their long-term immigration status, and get them settled and employed in their new lives.

That experience led to another opportunity to work with Nalini in a different capacity. We worked with a client to research, document, and analyze the different practical and legal issues facing fertility clinics across the country, including the implications on women’s health, and legal and ethical dilemmas that have arisen in some cases. Once again Nalini assembled a highly qualified team of very diverse people and led the team to produce an insightful and superior result.

I’ve also had the opportunity to participate in some of Nalini’s weekly online discussions called Connecting the Dots, where she leads the discussion of issues facing organizations and individuals today.

It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work with Nalini in different efforts. She is absolutely

capable with any subject or scenario, she works well with people from all walks of life, her innovative leadership is effective in any situation, and I give Nalini the highest recommendation for any and every endeavor.
