“Take a stand for what’s right. Raise a ruckus and make a change. You may not always be popular, but you’ll be part of something larger and bigger and greater than yourself. Besides, making history is extremely cool.”

— SAMUEL L. JACKSON

“Never avert your eyes from the suffering of another.”
Professor Dennis Dalton

Our individual and social bodies have been devastated by the coronavirus, whose ripple effects include prolonged social and economic upheaval, and the full exposure of numerous crises facing humanity.

People across the globe, experiencing their own tumult, have begun voicing collective concern for social, economic, environmental, and humanitarian justice.

In the streets, locally and internationally, protestors are demanding accountability, justice, and the dismantling of institutions that aren’t serving humanity.

In the workplace, employees are pushing companies to more actively and fundamentally promote equity, diversity, belonging, and inclusion.

In communities, many are observing how systemic or other ways of being have undermined certain people from thriving, and are looking for opportunities to support.

In the home, many of us are reflecting on our values to understand how we can find our places within this drive for progress and our purpose within the future we wish to co-create.
